We need YOUR help in making classrooms inclusive spaces

OUR GOAL: To create space in every school designed by youth where all students are respected and their identities are acknowledged.

We want our classrooms and schools to become brave, safe, educated, and restorative spaces for LGBTQ+ students, undocumented students, students with disabilities, students of color, survivors, and students who are directly affected by the school-to-prison pipeline. 


To help us do this, please follow the steps below:

Teachers:
  1. Read over the ICONIC Pledge here. 
  2. Use this form to sign the pledge to make your classroom a certified #ICONIC space. 
  3. Look out for an email from the ICONIC Committee detailing next steps and resources for your classroom! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at change@bridgesusa.org.
Students: 
  1. Use this form to nominate your teachers to have their classrooms certified as an inclusive classroom. 
  2. Use this template to send your teachers a personalized email about why you think their classroom should become #ICONIC. 
  3. Follow and share our posts (@bb.change) on Instagram!
