How Do You Report Sexual Violence in Your School?

OUR WHY

As MASHA, we have witnessed firsthand the impact of sexual harassment in our schools, and think it is a HUGE problem that students (including us) don't know the answer to the question:

HOW DO YOU REPORT SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN YOUR SCHOOL?

Especially, when one compares the prevalence of sexual violence in our schools and the fact that Shelby County Schools only reported 3 sexual harassment cases to the state last year...

We are excited about some new and upcoming changes to address this issue such as the hiring of a full time Title XI Coordinator and the development of a reporting app which will create a unified way to report anything that has happens in your school.

BUT, in the meantime...
We need to know the answer to this question!
This page is about us getting those answers. Our hope is to get students, teachers, administration and parents to answer the survey to the right. When you answer, we will, within one week, add them to the public data base of these responses here.
